The 1,760km² Ravenswood Consolidated Project near Charters Towers is located approximately 130km south of Sunshine’s head office in Townsville, within a prolific mining district that has produced over 20 million ounces of gold and 14 million tonnes of volcanogenic massive sulphide ore (copper gold, zinc lead).
Liontown hosts a Total Mineral Resource of 6.3Mt @ 1.5g/t Au, 27g/t Ag, 0.8% Cu, 4.4% Zn and 1.6% Pb, forming part of a broader gold, copper, zinc, lead, silver VMS Resource of 7.36mt @ 3.9g/t Au (929koz AuEq) or 10.9% ZnEq (43% Indicated, 57% Inferred12).
A robust scoping level Mining Study has been completed for an initial open pit and underground gold and silver development at Liontown, outlining an initial production target of ~75Koz @ 2.96 g/t Au, and 654Koz Ag @ 25.73g/t Ag (73% Indicated, 27% Inferred) over a 47 month mine life. The study supports a staged development approach, targeting near term production from high grade, gold dominant mineralisation while retaining significant upside from the broader polymetallic Resource.
Ravenswood Consolidated is accessed via sealed roads, with mains power running through the project area, supporting potential development activities.
