Ravenswood Consolidated

Ravenswood Consolidated is prospective for intrusion-related mineral systems hosting gold-copper-molybdenite and base metals.

The 1,760km² Ravenswood Consolidated Project near Charters Towers is located ~130km south of Sunshine’s head office in Townsville, within a prolific mining district which hosts some of Queensland’s largest mines and has collectively produced over 20 million ounces (Moz) gold, and 14 million tonnes (Mt) of volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) ore (copper-gold, zinc-lead). The project holds a Au-Cu, Zn-Pb-Ag VMS Resource of 5.45mt @ 12.0% ZnEq (47% Indicated, 53% Inferred).

Ravenswood Consolidated is accessed via sealed roads, with mains power running through the project area.

Townsville hosts a concentrate export port and the Sun Metals Holdings zinc smelter (ultimately owned by the A$12b Korea Zinc Company, Ltd. (KRX: 010130.KS). Furthermore, rail infrastructure between Townsville and Mt Isa passes through Ravenswood Consolidated. The A$100b Glencore PLC (LSE: GLEN) operates a lead/copper smelter in Mt Isa and a copper refinery in Townsville.

The project is surrounded by large operating and historical producers. Ravenswood Gold (owned by EMR Capital and Golden Energy & Resources Ltd. (SGX:AUE)), operate the 5.6Moz Au Ravenswood Gold Mine adjacent to the project.

Ravenswood Consolidated is prospective for zinc-lead-copper-gold-silver and copper-gold volcanogenic massive sulphide systems (VMS), intrusion-related and orogenic gold and porphyry copper-molybdenum-gold deposits.

Ravenswood Consolidated contains the high-grade Liontown – Liontown East, Waterloo and Orient VMS Resources and the emerging Plateau gold Resource. All Resources remain open at depth and along strike and nearby exploration potential is excellent.
